Co-Curricular
Our Co-Curricular programme offers over 50 options each week and is designed both to complement and extend the main programme of study. Split into three parts, parents are able to broaden the range of experiences and opportunities their children enjoy through After School Aquatics, Extra Curricular Activity and an Instrumental Music Programme. Together, they provide students with the chance to explore new passions, refine existing talents, and develop skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA)
Co-curricular activities allow for both the broadening and deepening of artistic, sporting and academic interests. From drama, STEAM activities, and coding, to chess, football, and creative writing, the variety of ECA ensures that every student can find a space to thrive. Exhibited excellence is rewarded through elected participation.
After School Aquatics (ASA)
Swimming at Shrewsbury Hong Kong forms an integral part of our Physical Education curriculum. The After School Aquatics programme builds on this foundation, providing additional training opportunities in partnership with Eliteswim Academy.
Delivered outside school hours, ASA enables students to pursue advanced coaching and develop their swimming skills in a supportive, structured environment.
Instrumental Music Programme (IMP)
Music plays a vital role in shaping creativity and confidence. IMP is run in partnership with Pure Orchestral Centre both during and after school hours to allow for regular one-to-one and small group instrumental study. Through this programme, learners at Shrewsbury Hong Kong engage deeply with their instrument, gradually gaining fluency, mastery and the personal satisfaction of creating music.
The IMP complements Shrewsbury Hong Kong’s academic and holistic educational goals by offering a creative counterbalance to more structured learning.
