Well-Being
Our school prioritises the well-being of our community. We are committed to cultivating an environment in which students feel secure, supported, and respected, allowing them to thrive academically and personally.
Our approach to pastoral care assures that each student is treated as an individual. Dedicated teachers regularly monitor progress, and students have access to further support from our Listening Team and Learning Mentors should challenges emerge. This arrangement reassures families that no concerns are neglected and that students may always turn to someone.
Safeguarding is crucial to our pastoral services. Procedures are based on internationally recognised best practices and the Hong Kong Education Bureau’s regulations, ensuring that staff are well equipped to meet the demands of the community. By placing an emphasis on health, safety, and care, we provide a safe atmosphere in which students can engage confidently in school life.
Well-Being Team
A specialist Well-being Team works across the school to provide individualised support. The team focuses on helping students overcome barriers to learning, which may arise from social, emotional, or behavioural challenges. Through tailored strategies and positive engagement, the team helps students develop resilience, balance, and a productive approach to their studies.
Alongside teachers and form tutors, the Well-being Team, which includes a qualified School Counsellor, also plays a vital role in connecting families with the school. Parents are supported with practical advice and guidance to help their children maintain a healthy balance between academic demands and personal well-being.
