British International Pathway

The British International Pathway (BIP) supports the development of native or near-native level English and international standard Chinese.

Centring around a schedule within which approximately 85% of instruction is provided in English, learning within the BIP is further supplemented by an ambitious and tiered programme for Chinese language and culture. Lessons are delivered by a highly skilled subject specialist teaching team able to offer domain specific expertise. Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced classes run simultaneously within the Primary School to ensure that prior experience is recognised, validated and utilised.

Transfer between learning pathways is considered at the end of each Key Stage only upon receipt of a written expression of interest prior to the conclusion of the second term of the prior academic year.
