FOBISIA Fellowship
Shrewsbury International School Hong Kong was delighted to announce the news that Cal Bowness has been awarded a Fellowship with the Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA) following an application centring upon the role of oracy and cooperative learning.

The FOBISIA Fellowship is a program that recognises and supports outstanding educators within the network. The program aims to foster collaboration and shape best practices through webinars and other initiatives. Appointed Fellows will join the annual leadership conference, present to Heads across the region and publish an article on the impact of their chosen initiative within a professional journal.
‘Cal demonstrated an outstanding level of commitment to professional learning, collaboration, and educational leadership. The Fellowship Selection Committee was deeply impressed by his experience, insight, and dedication to sharing best practice.’
John Gwyn Jones, FOBISIA Chair
‘With only eight places available, we are thrilled and delighted with the appointment of Cal Bowness as a FOBISIA Fellow. He will benefit enormously from the opportunity, as with those who engage with the findings of his ambitious project.’
Ben Keeling, Shrewsbury Principal
