Darwin is off on tour this summer. Keen to make the most of the generosity of students, we were keen to catch up prior to departure.
How have you found being back at campus this term?
I’ve loved every minute! Regular visits to the Aquatics Centre, Auditorium and Library aside, students have been wonderfully supportive and I was able to settle in really quickly.
And what about life in Hong Kong?
I flew in from Shropshire at the end of March and have been busy since then visiting friends and connections all over the place thanks to School Partnership Coordinator, Chelly Tsang. I’ve ridden the Star Ferry, been up to The Peak and recently took a trip to Lantau.
What are you up to this summer?
Having recently been granted special authorisation from the immigration department, I’ll be here, there and everywhere, off on holiday with Shrewsbury students. I’ve packed my sunglasses and can’t wait for the adventure ahead. I understand that I’ll be required to document my travels, so it’s a good job I’m not camera shy.
We wish Darwin safe travels and look forward to learning more on return.
