A Shrewsbury Story: Sully, Toby and Maisey’s Family

Keen to learn more about our incredible community, we speak to a Shrewsbury family every month to find out about their journey, their aspiration and their hopes for the future. This month is the turn of Sully, Toby and Maisey’s Family - this is their story:

“We journeyed through the process of choosing a school for our three children remotely, from the UK. Early connections with the admissions team in March 2021 were extremely positive and it became quickly apparent to us that Shrewsbury would be our school.”

“Following an extended quarantine period on arrival, Sully, Toby and Maisey started in September 2021 and they haven’t looked back since. They received an incredibly warm welcome and have been overwhelmed by the opportunities available to them. Whether through the aquatics, music or performance programme, they have made astonishing progress.”

“With three children at very different stages of their education and our eldest due to graduate later this year, some will be surprised that we opted against through-train education on arrival, but the decision to enrol at Shrewsbury was one of the best we made. And the support we received through the process of school selection has been one of the key highlights. We have been so well guided and know that Maisy will be very well looked after atKellett from Year 7 while Sully and Toby continue their adventure here at Shrewsbury.”

“Hong Kong is an incredible place to live and work. From hiking to beaches and football to horse riding, we do our very best to keep busy. A varied activity timetable ensures that we are definitely getting the best out of our time in Hong Kong… long may it continue!”
