Planning for a return to campus

Following the submission of a resumption plan to the Education Bureau, Principal, Mr Ben Keeling, was able to share plans for a return to campus with parents yesterday.

Following the submission of a resumption plan to the Education Bureau, Principal, Mr Ben Keeling, was able to share plans for a return to campus with parents yesterday.

"We are hugely excited about the prospect of students returning to campus, but remain somewhat cautious. We know that stable environmental conditions are critical to the delivery of any plan to reopen to children and understand the importance of planning for continued diligence in regard to cleanliness and social distancing."

Mr Ben Keeling, Principal.

The plan would see the staggered resumption of classes on campus between 08:00 and 11:30 from Wednesday 20th May.

During the period of extended suspension, the school campus has been regularly cleaned, but this routine will step up further as the school population grows: during the afternoon of each school day, all learning spaces will be disinfected and a continuous programme for the cleaning of multi-touch surfaces, such as handrails and door handles, will be implemented. The safe return of students also relies heavily upon the cooperation of all community members.

For now, we watch and wait, in the hope that we remain able to deliver.
