This week, I write from Singapore and the evergreen Tanglin Trust School, which has chosen to mark its centenary year with the hosting of a Heads Conference in partnership with the Federation of British International Schools in Asia. Yet another opportunity to draw upon the support of an exceptional group of school leaders, we have been hosted with enormous generosity.

Next week will feature the gathering of the School Management Committee and discussion will likely centre upon the final phase of the journey towards the identification and appointment of my successor – it will conclude with an engagement at another international schools fair, this time in partnership with friends at the South China Morning Post. Scheduled to join a panel discussion on the theme of mental health and wellbeing, I greatly look forward to engaging with those able to join us.
