The hosting of our twelfth parent workshop of the year and a conversation about the incredible range of benefits available to young people who choose to engage in charitable work punctuated the week neatly, before the arrival of parents of students in Early Years classes for a celebration of specialist provision and a barnstorming presentation of learning from those in Year 3. With the induction of my successor running smoothly, I am also now in position to undertake what will be a concluding review of my final report to Governors.

Next week, we look forward to hosting a team from the Africa Centre, the semi-final of the Battle of the Books competition and an Open Day for over 300 visiting families. I’ll also be visiting friends at JP Morgan for a discussion panel on the formative years of education.
