Principal Blog – October 2025
Dear parents and friends,
Another month has passed, and I would like to share some reflections on the wonderful events we celebrated last month that truly embody our commitment to cultural appreciation and global citizenship.
First, we celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival, a beautiful occasion filled with family reunions and gratitude. Our students engaged in a variety of fun learning activities that allowed them to explore the rich traditions of this celebration. From lantern riddle games to our festive school parade and catwalk show, it was a fantastic opportunity for our students to connect with their own heritage while appreciating the diversity within our school community.
Next, we transported our students back in time with our Roman and Greek Days—two events that truly ignited their imaginations! By encouraging students to dress in Roman-themed clothing, they delved into the lives of ancient civilizations, participating in themed activities that made history come alive. It was inspiring to see the enthusiasm of our students as they actively participated, deepening their understanding of these influential cultures.
Recently, we also celebrated the vibrant festival of Diwali. Our students not only learned about the meaningful significance of this beautiful festival, but they also took part in various festive activities. From creating traditional rangoli patterns to savoring delicious Indian lunches, it was heartwarming to witness our community come together to celebrate the triumph of light over darkness.
These events are more than just celebrations; they are integral to our curriculum and promote the spirit of global citizenship. By embracing and learning from diverse cultures, we equip our students with the knowledge and empathy necessary to thrive in an interconnected world.
Thank you for being a part of our vibrant school community. I look forward to seeing how we can work together and learn from one another.
